We made it!!
Spring break vibes... there's nothing like leaving the house with nothing but a skateboard in your hands and no plans other than meeting up in DUMBO for lunch and besides that just pushing around brooklyn, clean sidewalks, people shedding the winter frowns and even a cop saying what's up and talking about being stoked on being posted up at LES park and wow those dudes are crazy have a nice day and hope you dont slam too hard today...
Last weekend recap
Rad times last weekend from front to back with a chill adult sesh on saturday, Genevieve learning rock to fakies, a private lesson then later that evening heading up to the northern regions of brooklyn with the whole fam to witness the girl takeover at the House of Vans on some record breaking 150+ girls there shredding, the little one and wife included in the mix but a whole day of activities left the little one famished, listen for "I want pizza!" as Anna May drops in on this clip, just one killer run that landed her first place in the bowl competition. Such positive vibes, super big props to Courtney and all the volunteers that made that event happen!
Sunday was hype as well at Skate Brooklyn with the kids in full effect! A whole mess came out for the Groms class and all the kids were stoked and sharing the ramp so well, stretching it out, learning lay-backs and then on to some ramp etiquette, getting some assistance with drop-ins and making some noise to get the energy level up! If your kid has been to a few classes or is pretty comfortable on their board, the Shredders class at 12:30 could be a good option. Dont worry, it's definitely not an "advanced" class, more of a beginners plus level class for kids that have skated the ramp before and are ready to get right in and start doing some ramp skating. If you have any questions just hit that reply button and I'd be happy to figure out which class is right for you!
