I can dance!
Well, not really... but at least I kinda can. With the little one away with her grandparents for the week, my wife and I went to our very first ballroom dancing lesson. It was rad! We learned the first steps of the Waltz, Rumba and Foxtrot. It was like some mysterious world being revealed. Then I thought, this is what it's like to ride a skateboard for the first time. When you see an experienced dancer or skateboarder performing their art, there's some undefinable magic to it. By trying it out yourself, you can develop more appreciation for their craft and start to see the steps they took to get there. Learning something new is kinda like traveling to a new place but it all happens internally.
Fall is almost here, which means "back to school" season. After a fun summer, it's time to harvest our energy into some new learning experiences! The SKATEYOGI elves have been hard at work updating the website with all the new offerings and Afterschool Skate Club (Mon & Wed). Registration is now open! Enrollment is limited so sign up to hold your spot.
