Surf's up! Perfect skate weather is back!!
NYC skaters are shaking off their indoor ramp legs and have returned en masse to the streets and parks. With such a sudden shift the past few days into beautiful skateweather everyone seems to be in high spirits, almost disoriented by the freedom of pushing around outdoors. We had some rad sessions this week with the afterschool crew at our local park. Always fun to see the creativity the kids bring to street skating :)

New drop-in class on Sundays at 12:30pm
Come check out the new SKATEYOGI Kids class Sundays at 12:30-1:30pm being offered for the next few weeks. Like the Saturday drop-in, this class is open to all abilities from absolute beginners to our junior shredders. Group exercises and skategames teach skateboard fundamentals while having fun. The "sesh" at the end will allow for one-on-one attention while the kids take turns with assistance on the ramp. This weekend's Saturday class is full but still plenty of room left to sign up for Sunday's class.
