Reporting from Leftover Land:
Hope you all are having a nice Thanksgiving weekend! Quick reminder post that there's no SKATEYOGI classes this weekend. Classes will resume next weekend. In the meantime, here's a little "skate art" Mike Donahue from Queens' based Deki Skateboards created for turkey day. And below that, your video of the week :)
Video of the Week: Eli Reed, Tokyo Decadence
Back in August as me and the little one were getting off our flight in Tokyo, I was quite surprised to see Eli Reed, an old skate friend from back in the Boston days. He told me he was in Tokyo to film a part for VHS Mag, a Japanese skate media website. After grabbing a quick selfie we traded contact info and though we never did link up to skate for the short time I was in Tokyo I kept bumping into skaters that had also skated with him just days before so that was pretty fun. Anyways, his part was just released and it really captures the vibe and terrain of Tokyo street skating, along with his fashion sense as well. Check it here!
