Early to bed, early to grind!
I bet if Ben Franklin were a skater he'd be the first one at LES Skatepark every morning. Every Autumn while we're enjoying the extra hour of sleep when daylight savings ends, he'd have the park to himself, shredding from the flat bank ledge all the way to the bowled out corner in the back.
The unseasonably nice weather this past week will come as quite a shock to the nine-to-fivers that try to sneak in skate sessions after work. Might have to take old Ben's advice and hit up some pre-workday dawn patrol sessions. How bad could a day in the office be after you've already slashed some coping?
Hope everyone had a great Halloween weekend! We had a blast seeing all the little shredders come and skate in costume. Here's a group shot from our Sunday session. Thanks to skate parent Keetch Miller for the shot:
Looking forward to kicking off a new round of 6-week series this weekend! I'm afraid all the series are full but there is still room in the drop-in classes. Please visit the website for more info and registration. If you have any trouble signing up simply hit reply to this message and I'll help you out!
