What animal embodies your personality?
Sea Turtle. They are majestic, peaceful, smooth, and gentle creatures that can easily glide through the water only taking what they need to survive and conscious of all other creatures around them.

​If you could have any super power, what would it be?
The gift of Flight. Being able to float above the world would be beautiful. From high above the world looks so peaceful and beautiful. So I would love to fly around above all the rooftops at night in peaceful bliss.

​What's your favorite thing to do on a day off?
Hanging with my little dude (son), Santi. Either going skating, playing basketball, watching movies, or just going out to lunch. It's all a treat spending time with him.

What inspired you to start skating? (Person, movie, video game)
When I was in the 5th Grade, I was waiting outside of my elementary school for the bell to ring to enter. I heard that sound. You all know that sound. But for me it was a totally new sound. The sound of the wheels rolling over sidewalk cracks. I instantly turned and saw Adam, Billy, and David from my school rolling down the sidewalk and was hooked. Billy had a shaved head, Adam had long wavy hair and shaved it short underneath, and David had his hair all spiked up like a crown. The combination of Vans checkered high tops, cut off long shorts looked so cool on them. They looked so free as if they didn't care what anyone else thought about them. I knew instantly that I had to be a skater. I wanted that sense of freedom that their skateboards gave them.

What music pumps you up to skate?
The strong sense of FREEDOM that it gives me everytime I push down the street. There truly is nothing like it in the world. I dream about it all the time. Just running out your front door, throwing your board down and going down the street. Total freedom. No car, no bus, no train. Just you and your board out there in the world.

What is your favorite skate video part? 
Tommy Guerrero in Powell & Perelta's Future Primitive. After watching that I realized that I didn't need large half pipes to skate and everything around me was a skatepark. I skated looking at my neighborhood differently and skated every driveway, grass patch, curb cut, wall, and ledge. Plus Tommy G is truly a visionary in skating. He is up there with Natas Kapas and Mark Gonzalez.

What is your favorite sweet?
LIFE is my sweet, but truly I love dry salty things more. Give me a bowl of Chips n Salsa and I'm golden. Plus some nice Olives.

What's your favorite hobby? 
I Love to Listen to Vinyl Records. I'm a massive Vinyl collector. I love to take trips to Europe to search for certain rare 90's records. Europe has the best record stores (England, Norway, Spain, Ireland, Wales, etc.)
