Pretty stoked on the diversity of skate culture these days. The SKATEYOGI kids classes have as many girls learning to shred as there are boys. People from all walks of life pushing around. More and more, the adults are coming out to skate too! Really happy to announce SKATEYOGI was recently featured in The Guardian, with Adam Gabbatt recapping his experience taking a lesson as an adult beginner. The only way to really experience skateboarding is to hop on and give it a shot. Hope this article inspires more people to discover the joy of skateboarding. Namaskate!

FEMME SKATE presents Sorta Sketchy
Glad to be a part of this rad event promoting females in skate culture! Best trick contest for females and guys at 5:30pm followed by an 6pm open mic (where you can sign up on spot) and amazing performances starting at 7pm with art showing all day starting from 3pm!! SKATEYOGI Summer Classes
SKATEYOGI classes continue through August on the summer schedule. Sign up in advance to save a spot! Adult beginners on Saturdays at 11am; SKATEYOGI Kids at 12:30pm. Due to popular demand we also added a Thursday night Adult Beginners class from 7-8pm right before Adult Swim. Come shred the air conditioned ramp! Sign up at skateyogi.com/classes

KIDS
Monday:
Miniramp Mondays, 3:30-6pm (starts 9/21, $595 for 11 weeks, pickup at PS 321 available)

Wednesday: Wild Things Wednesdays, 3:30-6pm (starts 9/9, $595 for 11 weeks, pickup at PS 118 available)

Saturday: Groms Series, 9:30-10:30am (Starts 9/19, $165 for 6-week series)
Absolute Groms, 12:30-1:30pm ($30 single class)

Sunday: Skate Science, 9:30am-Noon (starts 9/20, $295 for 6-week series) Shredders Series, 12:30-1:30pm (starts 9/20, $165 for 6-week series)

ADULTS
Thursday:
Adult Beginners 7-8pm ($30 single class)

Saturday:
Adult Beginners, 11am-Noon ($30 single class)  

SKATEYOGI presents Skate Brooklyn Adult Swim!
Immediately following the Thursday evening adults class from 8pm to midnight every week we're kicking the kids out of the "pool" so the adults can have some fun! Everyone is welcome regardless of ability to come hang out and skate the ramp. We even have some extra boards and gear to borrow if you need it. Nothing but good vibes for anyone who wants to try out skateboarding.
