Just a short 12-minute walk north from SKATEYOGI Williamsburg lies this fun little DIY spot hidden in plain sight within the confines of the American Playground in Greenpoint.
The main feature is a wide quarterpipe, short with a nice quick transition. A slappy curb and flat bar round out the obstacle selections. It is also worth mentioning the smooth flatground, plenty of shade from trees overhead and the standard playground amenities including sprinklers and a bathroom.
Skateparks are great but sometimes all you need is a little micro spot like this in the neighborhood to push around and have fun.
