The skateboard permanently attached via grip tape thumb pressing in, looking ahead a couple blocks the pace increases and the board is thrown down caught by the foot on a forward lunge setting you in motion one moment after another thoughts calm as space moves faster around you. SKATEYOGI classes this weekend! Good times last sunday morning at the first Rise and Shine class! Come join us at Thomas Greene park (Douglass and 3rd Ave) every sunday at 9:30am. Classes are all on at their regular times this weekend. Adults on Saturday at 11am-noon. On Sunday: Rise and Grind 9:30am-10:30am; Groms from 11am-noon and Shredders from 12:30pm-1:30pm. See you there! Book a Private Lesson with SKATEYOGI! Classes are awesome to get everyone pumped on skating together and it helps build the community aspect which is a huge part of skateboarding. However, some kids (and adults) can also gain alot from the increased attention you can get from a private lesson. The rate is $60/hr for the first student and $15 per additional student if you'd like to make it semi-private. I can suggest locations based on your convenience and ability. I find students can gain confidence in a private lesson skating outdoor spots they might not feel comfortable skating alone. Saturday mornings and afternoons are usually open as well as weekday mornings and evenings (6-7pm) are generally available. Shoot me an email (or hit reply) to arrange a lesson!
