SKATEYOGI: No class this weekend, Rondel Ramp wrap-up and skating in high fashion

Sup everybody!

Hope you all had a killer weekend! First off, I want to remind everyone that there will not be a Skate Yogis class this weekend. I'll be up in CT tearing up the dance floor with the little one at my cousin's wedding. Next class will be the following Saturday Oct. 12.

So, a couple skate friends of mine who go by the collective name Rondel had a dope mini-ramp they built for a commercial and got to keep it and they had it in this warehouse space temporarily for like a week and it was soooo rad but my toe is broken so that was kind of a bummer but we all hung out and had a good send-off party on Saturday night. Stoked that two skate yogis came along to check it out before it was dismantled. If you're on instagram just peep the hashtag #rondel for some of the craziness... stay tuned, I hear they may have a new space for some more rondo ramp jams!

And in the exact opposite direction on the exposure spectrum of skate related happenings, via Quarter Snacks. I stumbled across this super weird but kinda interesting skateboard short film with pro skaters wearing all kinds of fancy clothes, and there are models and it's set to Duran Duran so it's probably worth 5 minutes of your life.
