bummed yet??

Even if the bean counters calculated that some monday in january is the most depressing day (post holidaze plus crap weather) breathe deeply friends cause we got no worries here even if it's a little tougher if you're tryin to shred! That's what makes this the east coast and we'll be that much more stoked once spring rolls around. California can keep it's perfect weather smooth concrete and buttery ledges. Right?!

Every weekend it's always sunny indoors at Skate Brooklyn with good vibes for all... Saturdays is adults at 11am and Sunday is for the kids at 11am. If the time or group setting doesn't work for you hit me up to arrange a private lesson usually available on the weekends at 12:30 or possibly an early bird at 10am.

Old Man Mondays

Will Ferrell may be half-right but that hasn't stopped Homage from hosting a weekly Old Man Monday at their indoor facility in Gowanus. Cause really the truth is that if you're still skating past 30 you've given up on trying to be cool and just having fun like a kid again. Plus we tend to lose the grumpiness without the little kickflipper snappers around that have been raised on non-stop internet skate videos, endless NYC skateparks and skating actually being mainstream cool during your teens.... anyways, it's a good time, sometimes hype, sometimes pretty chill, bring along 5 bucks suggested donation, some cold beverages of your choice, and some ibuprofen and epsom salt for later on.

Clip of the Week!
mini-ramp madness this time of year, so to get you stoked on the endless possibilities this seemingly simple skate structure can offer please take some time to peep the Almost skateboards 2006 Cheese and Crackers video featuring daewon song and chris haslam destroying a single miniramp and having a blast in the process.

namaskate!!
