First afterschool sesh at 140 Empire!

​Woke up today feeling like a kid on christmas morning, tearing into the wrapped pallet of ramps to set up in the new space. We're still a little ways from officially opening at 140 Empire but we had a chance this afternoon to do a little practice session. We cleared out the construction material and set up the ramps for the Friends Seminary skate club kicking off their winter semester of Friday afterschool. Comfortable lines for multiple skaters and different configurations for skaters of all abilities. Mission accomplished!!

As we open the new space, we are cooking up new programs for the community including a teens class and parent and child daytime skate tots class. Stay tuned!

Registration open for the next round of 6-week series starting up the weekend of Jan 7. Registration links are now open for the next series picking back up after the holiday weekends. Join a series and progress with the same crew for six weeks! Click here for more info and sign up links.

Winter afterschool program! Registrations have started coming in so sign up soon to reserve your spot! The session runs from January through March following the public school calendar. We now offer the program on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with pickup at the current schools. Email me if you'd like to gather a group for pickup at your school! Otherwise drop off is at 140 Empire from 3:15-3:45pm. Sign up here to reserve your spot!

Still room left in our Winter Holiday Break Day Camps on Dec 22-23 and Dec 27-30! Drop the kids off to skate and fun with the SKATEYOGI crew while we break in the new space.
