Spot Check: Back Sov DIY Skatepark, Atlantic City, NJ

This week some of the SKATEYOGI team went down to Atlantic City for the American Camp Association Tri-State Camp Conference (the largest of its kind in the world!). I even had the opportunity to give a presentation on Failure and Skateboarding as a lesson in developing camper's resilience.

While we were there we took a break from the conference to check out this nearby DIY skatepark. This spot is a perfect example of Less is More. Something about the simplicity of the layout, the smooth ground, the sparse but well made DIY elements, made this park flow so nice. The locals were very friendly and we found ourselves welcomed into the session. Definitely recommend checking this out if you're ever in the area!
