Mon 2/3-Thu 2/27. (No classes during the week of 2/17) ️ Lunar New Year (1/29) Day Camp Limited number of spots available for Little Kids Mini Camp, Kids Camp @ PLG and Williamsburg. - Kevin Kevin's Spot Check Series: Japan Part 3 Nutria Hamamatsu Skatepark Situated in an industrial area of Hamamatsu city, Nutria has 2 floors – the bottom floor is an immense street park but the upstairs is miniramp heaven! Four different ramps, including a smaller mini with extension, a spine mini, a bigger miniramp and lastly the most amazing microbowl. The bowl is instantly skateable and the heights and transitions are very forgiving. On the day I went, there was hardly anyone skating the formidable downstairs, but the upstairs was a good vibes session with everyone switching from ramp to ramp. There were young shredders and several skate dads like me. One dad even gave me a ride back to Hamamatsu station, which was super nice because it was quite a trek back to the in-laws house. This is the last spot check of this Japan series. Visiting these skate spaces definity provide some inspiration and I hope to keep in touch with the friends I made and visit next time. Maybe you can visit these places too or find another rad space on your next trip somewhere new!
