Still Searching for Animal Chin

Leaving soon with the family on a trip to the countryside of northern Thailand and getting that nervous excitement that kicks in right before any new trip. As I pack my skateboard, it reminds me of the 1987 classic skate video, The Search for Animal Chin. One of the first skate videos to have a plot, it features the Bones Brigade on a quest for a mythical skater. Though they never actually find him, they discover the pure joy of skating by skating different spots and meeting new people along the way. The movie ends with the final quote: "As long as skaters keep searching for Chin, they've already found him."

Weekend Classes
No SKATEYOGI classes during mid-winter break Feb 13-21
There will be a two weekend break from classes. Classes will resume the weekend of Feb 27. 

Summer Camp
SKATEYOGI Summer Camp 2016 registration is now open!
This year we will run for 6 weeks from July 5 through August 12. In addition to learning to shred, each week will have a different STEM topic in math, science or engineering applied to skateboarding with hands on activities and labs. Afterschool Spring Session
SKATEYOGI Afterschool Spring Session starts April 4.
Join the fun in the SKATEYOGI Afterchool skate club! We offer pick-up from PS 321 on Mondays, and PS 118 on Mondays and Wednesdays. Otherwise, drop off at Skate Brooklyn at 3:30pm and pickup by 6pm.

Weekend Series
Next round of 6-week series start the weekend of March 5.
The Groms and Groms Plus series are now sold out but there's still room in the Shredders on Sundays at 12:30pm for kids that are comfortable on their boards and ready to learn some tricks and ride the ramp independently.
