 A Skateboarding Cinderella Story
A 14 years old female skater Coco Yoshizawa won a gold medal for Women's Street! It was intriguing to find out that she and her family had no idea how exceptional she was until they watched the Tokyo Olympics 3 years ago! Imagine the thrill of discovering your hidden talent watching the Olympics on TV! Because her parents didn't allow her to have a smartphone until the 7th grade, she was unplugged from skateboarding culture on social media. There was no way for her to compare herself to others or share her clips! Despite being selected an Olympic athlete, she didn't have any sponsors. Coco's under dog status makes her win so sick.
